Our History
MOMM is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization that empowers at-risk children who have lost their mother to violence or suicide. The President of MOMM lost her mother to murder at the age of 15 years old and her father to suicide at the age of 7 years old. She struggled through the early years of her life without the unconditional love and support of her parents, along with not having a lot of necessities or material items. In 2018, it was decided to take action and donate toiletries, clothing, food and toys to children in need. Previously, the President and a handful of family members paid for these items at their own expense. M.O.M.M. is attempting to grow and empower more children who are in deep need! With your donations and sponsorships, we will be able to achieve our mission!
Our Mission
Memories of Murdered Mothers Foundation (MOMM) is dedicated to empowering at-risk youth in Northern Delaware and Delaware County (Delco) who have lost their mothers to violence or suicide. MOMM provides grieving children with emergency care packages, immediate trauma-informed support, and food vouchers. We aim to restore stability and provide critical support during their most vulnerable moments.
